Tamim Iqbal is dissatisfied even after winning the first ODI

Bangladesh has been whitewashed in the Test and T20 series on the West Indies tour. Though captain Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah Riyad could not win, ODI captain Tamim Iqbal did. In the first ODI in Guyana, the Tigers defeated the Caribbeans by 8 wickets.

The Bangladesh team is not in a good position despite taking the lead in the three-match series. The Tigers dropped four easy catches in the 149-run match against the Caribbeans. The hosts would be packed for 110-120 runs if they could catch those catches. Tamim expressed his regret at the press conference.

Tamim said, ''Dropping these catches against a good team will be valuable. Ever since I became the captain, I have been worried about this. It needs to stop. Where to find the problem. It is not good to be dropped by the same person again and again. ''

The Bangladesh captain added, ''I am happy to have won the first match in the West Indies. But I will not say it is easy. If we want to win, we have to play the best game. They have proved in Tests and T20s that they are a good and dangerous team. ''
